WHAT TO WATCH FOR: United Rebel Sprint Series Returns for Double Header Weekend in Nebraska

9/4/2024 Dodge City, Kansas (www.urssracing.com) - Its been well over a month since the United Rebel Sprint Series was on track in front of a crowd at the 7th annual Belleville 305 Nationals on August 3rd. With mother nature canceling the series’s final scheduled stop at WaKeeney Speedway on August 23rd, the Rebels are ready to get back on the track.

For most drivers, it hasn't been an “off” month by any means. With a lot of drivers recently competing in the IMCA RaceSaver Nationals at Eagle, Nebraska’s, Eagle Raceway on Labor day weekend, names like Jeremy Huish, Steven Richardson and Ty Williams are ready to get back at it.

The United Rebel Sprint Series heads to Nebraska this September 6-7th weekend as the tour plans to make stops at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska and Thayer County Speedway in Deshler, Nebraska. This will also make for a first time appearance since 2019 to Thayer County Speedway for the National Tour.

Both nights will feature the United Rebel Sprint Series and the Malvern Bank 360 sprint car series, giving south central Nebraska fans their money's worth of sprint car entertainment this weekend.

Friday, September 6th the series will stop at Beatrice Speedway in Beatrice, Nebraska for just the second time in series history. The first time the Rebels raced at the 3/8 mile last year in 2023, the Eagle, Nebraska native Tyler Drueke grabbed the checkered flag.

The last time the URSS was in Deshler, Nebraska, Jason Martin added to his 30 plus win list with the Rebels, as now the series will return Saturday, September 7th.
