JR Bonesteel Banks Victory at Sandia Speedway with POWRi NMMRA

Belleville, IL. (10/8/23) Welcoming back to the returning open-wheel action of the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association, Sandia Speedway would find the seventeenth series event of 2023 full of adrenaline rushes as JR Bonesteel would capture the feature win for the third time in his career.

Starting the on-track adrenaline rushes at Sandia Speedway for the POWRi NMMRA would witness Michael Fanelli and JR Bonesteel each earning the heat race wins as well as Colt Treharn earning the night's high-point qualifier honor after winning the dash.

Flying from starting in the second position on the grid, JR Bonesteel would shoot to the lead in a flurry and hold the lead position to gain his third seasonal victory as third-starting Michael Fanelli finished runner-up with Don Grable gaining the final podium placement from starting fourth.

Continual frontrunner Caleb Saiz would finish fourth from starting fifth with seventh-starting Travis Oldfield rounding out the top-five finishers for the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association at Sandia Speedway on Saturday Night.

Next up the POWRi New Mexico Motor Racing Association will see action running back at state-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park on November 17-18 running in conjunction with the Sunset Grill POWRi Vado Non-Wing Sprints in the annual Zia Sprint Car Classic. Additional classes include Johnstone Supply Super Trucks, Hulsey Racing Legends, S.H. Automotive Pure Stocks, as well as the Jackson Compaction POWRi Vado 305 Sprints.
