They specialize in Ceramic Coated 6-4 Titanium and Cast 8740 Chromoly brake rotors, as well as lightweight aluminum calipers. Ultra-Lite manufactures the lightest rotors available for sprint cars, which not only reduces ever important overall weight, but also lowers the rotating weight of the assembly, which is crucial. They also treat their rotors with patented coatings, which enables the system to remain cooler during braking. This translates to the driver being able to uses the brakes harder, without the dreaded fading associated with the braking system becoming overheated.
