"Stellar Performance At Tri-State Speedway!"

After electing to skip the Midwest Open Wheel Association event at the Bloomington Speedway near Bloomington, Indiana, Friday evening due to a looming threat of rain, Tiffany and team were back in action on Saturday evening as the MOWA series headed to "The Class Track", Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana.

Twenty-one cars signed in to do battle on Haubstadt's famous high-banked, quarter-mile. The field was divided into two 10-lap heat races. Tiffany would start outside row two of the second heat race. She would gain one position, as she passed Randy Myers early in the race, finishing third as the checkered flew.

Tiffany qualified for the 6 car, 6-lap Fast Dash via passing points. After the redraw, she would find herself starting last. Tiffany began to track down the leaders before Joey Moughan bobbled in Turn 2, sending him into the fence, where he made a nice save without drawing a caution. The incident caused Tiffany to break momentum, unable to run the leaders back down. She would cross the line in 6th, which would set her up to start outside row three in the evening's A-Feature.

Twenty-one cars were slated for 25 laps. Chaos broke out on the original start as two seperate incidents occurred. AJ Bruns and Jerrod Hull made contact exiting Turn 2, as Critter Malone spun going into Turn 1, collecting Paul Nienhiser, Chris Urish and Jordan Kinser with him. Bruns and all of the cars involved in the Turn 1 incident were unable to refire, moving the entire inside row of the starting field up, including Kody Kinser to the pole from inside row three. Hull would jump out to an early lead as Tiffany began a fierce battle with both Korey Weyant and Jeremy Standridge. Tiffany would continue to battle wheel-to-wheel with Weyant, before being lapped by Hull in the mid-stage of the race. However, Tiffany was able to race her way back onto the lead lap and into 5th before a late red halted the race as Joey Moughan flipped in Turn 1. Weyant was caught a lap down at the time of the incident, leaving Tiffany in 5th, a full lap ahead of the 6th place car. On the ensuing restart, with four laps remaining, Standridge went low into Turn 1, appearing to get loose as Tiffany started by to his outside, resulting in the two making slight incidental contact. Standridge spun into the infield, but still finished on the lead lap behind Tiffany after executing a 360 spin. Tiffany was scored in the 4th position, behind winner Jerrod Hull, second place Kody Kinser and third place Cale Thomas. Standridge would finish on the lead lap in 5th.

We would like to give a very big and well deserved thank you to everyone at the Tri-State Speedway, from owners/promoters Tom & Loris Helfrich to the fantastic fans! Truly a world-class facility with great people and a tremendous racing surface! We truly appreciate all of the fans and supporters who came to the pit area after the races!
