Series Information

Founded in 2013, Terry Mattox created the National Open Wheel 600 Series with the simple idea of promoting and growing the sport of Micro Sprint racing through honesty, fairness, and integrity. That remains the founding principles of the NOW600 to this day, that a person’s word is their bond. That the sport of Micro Sprint racing would be built on a solid foundation that will inspire growth for generations of fans and racers. It is the mission of the National Open Wheel 600 Series to bring Micro Sprints to the masses that will later lead drivers and teams into higher divisions and series.

Anchored by the Dirt2Media NOW600 Micro Sprint National Championship presented by the Hi Plains Building Division, the NOW600 Series is also made up of several regional series across the United States. Those regions include: Ark-La-Tex, Cactus, HART, Jayhusker, Mile High, Southwest Kansas, and Wild Card.

NOW600 also sanctions Micro Sprint racing at race tracks across the country including: Airport Raceway (Garden City, KS), Dodge City Raceway Park (Dodge City, KS), KAM Raceway (Hastings, NE), Miami County Raceway (Peru, IN), Outlaw Motor Speedway (Oktaha, OK), Red Dirt Raceway (Meeker, OK), Stuart Raceway (Stuart, NE) and US 24 Speedway (Logansport, IN).

Premier sanctioned divisions of the NOW600 Series include: Stock Non-Wing, Winged A-Class and the young guns in the Restricted 'A' Class. NOW600 also sanctions additional classes across its regions and weekly sanctioned tracks such as: Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, Junior Sprints, and Turf Tire.

In 2021, the National Open Wheel 600 Series expanded outside of the Micro Sprint ranks with the addition of the 600cc Modified and Dwarf Cars under the sanctioning umbrella.

One can see the best micro sprint racing in tracks across the states of Oklahoma, Arizona, Colorado, Indiana, Nebraska, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Florida, and Illinois.
