NOW600 National Micros
Knox Nets Sam Davis Memorial! Kirkman, Rose, Kimmel, Williamson and Zimmerman also Victorious at Circus City Speedway
PERU, Indiana (Sept. 22, 2019) - Kris Knox, Kole Kirkman, Brandon Rose, Sam Kimmel, Aiden Williamson and Jacob Zimmerman were each victorious at Circus City Speedway on Saturday in NOW600 Tel-Star Technologies Weekly Racing action during the Sam Davis Memorial.
27 Senior Non-Wing, 10 Winged Outlaw, 41 Non-Wing Outlaw, 34 Stock Non-Wing, 8 Restricted 'A' Class and 4 Junior Sprints were on hand for the annual running of the Sam Davis Memorial.
Kris Knox picked up the headlining Senior Non-Wing class. Russ Gamester finished in the second spot with Jason Ohard taking the final podium spot. Mike Mensendiek was fourth with Wes Bigger fifth from 11th.
Cory Ebersole, Dustin Smith, Fred McCarter, Todd Kirkman and Ron Dennis made up the top ten.
McCarter, Joe Leek, Mensendiek and Knox were heat winners. Jim Bolen won the lone B-Main.
Kole Kirkman grabbed the win in the Winged Outlaw class. Jake Erickson was second with Brent Busz in third. Darin Naida trailed in fourth and Carson Stout made up the top five.
Penn Grant, Judson Miller, Connor Wold, Randy Shilling and Reece Saldana were the field.
Erickson and Busz won the nights two heat races.
Brandon Rose raced to another victory in the Non-Wing Outlaw class. Todd Kirkman was second with Sam Kimmel finishing in third. Fourth went to Camden Winter with Kole Kirkman making up the top five.
Adam Walker, Kati Waggoner, Jacob Bigger, Nathan Franklin and Deaven Bolton the top ten.
Heat race winners were, Todd Kirkman, Thomas Parker, Nathan Franklin, Brandon Rose and Jacob Bigger. The B-Mains were won by Billy Briscoe and Ron Dennis.
Sam Kimmel was victorious in Stock Non-Wing (A-Class) competition on Saturday. Kole Kirkman was second. Jarrett Martin from seventh finished in third. Bryce Lucius took the fourth spot with Connor Corcoran making up the top five.
Deaven Bolton, Tyler Orr, Austin Helm, Bobby Elliot and Noah Whitehouse were the top ten.
Helm, Kimmel, Martin and Lucius won the nights four heat races. Shawn Bartley and Bobby Elliot won the two B-Mains.
Aiden Williamson rode to victory in the Restricted 'A' Class. Cooper Baldwin finished in the second spot. Gunnar Setser from fifth to third. Cale Coons was fourth and Collin Mitchell the top five.
Kayla Martin, Easton Zent and Colin Baldwin made up the field.
Williamson and Mitchell won heat races.
Jacob Zimmerman was the winner in the Junior Sprints. Dylan Balong was second with JD Kimmel and Drake Martin the field.
Zimmerman won the lone heat race.
Next Saturday is the Season Championship at Circus City Speedway.
