Brewer, Flud and Benson Capture Lucas Oil NOW600 Series Victories at Red Dirt Raceway

Inside Line Promotions – MEEKER, Okla. (March 7, 2020) – Kenton Brewer, Frank Flud and Garrett Benson recorded Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Hi-Plains Building Division feature triumphs on Saturday evening at Red Dirt Raceway.
Brewer became the 36th different driver to earn a Stock Non-Wing victory with the series. Johnny Boland placed second with Justin Patocka rallying from 19th to round out the podium. Timothy Watson III finished fourth and Caleb Thompson was fifth.
Seth Shebester, Brewer and Harley Hollan were the heat race winners.
Flud remains undefeated in three Winged ‘A’ Class feature starts this season as he garnered his 45th career series win in the division. Jade Avedisian hustled from 10th to second and Brewer maneuvered from 11th to third with Noah Key fourth and Holden Jennings fifth.
Alex Karpowicz, Boland and Jennings each won a heat race.
Benson won his second straight Restricted ‘A’ Class main event with the series as Avedisian, who won the season opener, captured a runner-up result. Tyler Kuykendall placed third with Kaden Smith fourth and Ethan Ayars fifth.
Cooper Sullivan and Ayars topped the heat races.
The weekend finale is Sunday afternoon at Red Dirt Raceway. The starting times have been moved up two hours. The pill draw begins at 11 a.m. with hot laps at 12:52 p.m. and racing at 2 p.m.
General admission tickets are $15. High school student tickets are $5 and children ages 5-years-old or younger get in free. Pit passes are $30 per person.
