Merry Christmas from the Miniakota Micro Sprints!

Miniakota Micro Sprints 2016.

Greetings from the 2016 Miniakota Micro sprint board. We hope everyone is enjoying the offseason. Although things have been quiet for a month we wish to report on progress for 2016. We have been meeting with promoters representing the following tracks. We hope to hear from more in the months to come. We also have some traveling opportunities that we are considering involving co sanctioned events. The owners and promoters at Jackson & Spencer have committed to building us a set of tracks that we have been missing for years. Jackson will not begin until next season and will not be ready until mid-summer for some testing. But the plans are incredible. We are also be working side by side with Spencer to make for some great double down weekends. We are equally acceded about the opportunity to start in Spencer and establish and strong presence early in the season. We look forward to bringing you more info as it comes available on these tracks. Although the Badlands Speedway (formerly Husets) has not contacted us for any shows this season to build off last year, they have changed their rules to match the New motor Miniakota Rules as well as align themselves with the other sanctions and groups near us. Hoosier has once again stepped up as a great sponsor for another year. We hope to announce the points purse but we are expecting it to be over the $10,000 mark for 2016. This does not include any prizes. The board is currently looking for people to go after sponsors in 2016. Any help would be great. We have had several reports of new racers & cars in the area! This is great news and cannot wait to see some new faces around the pits. All in all 2016 has some promising developments that could make it our best season to date.
