Atomic Summer Sizzle Awaits Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series on July 19

SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 15, 2025)—The second event of an action-packed weekend for the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series fueled by VP will be on Saturday July 19th at Atomic Speedway near Waverly, Ohio. The event will pay $5,000-to-win and $500-to-start the 30-lap main event. This will mark the 19th visit from the series to Atomic Speedway.

In the previous visit on May 10, Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky. took home the Mother’s Day Shootout victory over points leader Colten Burdette, R.J. Conley, Seth Daniels, defending series champion Rusty Schlenk, Adam Stricker, Freddie Carpenter, Jeff Babcock, Rod Conley & Justin Cooper who rounded out the top-ten.

In addition to the ground-pounding Super Late Models, the UMP Modifieds & Sport Mods will all be in action. This will also be a Valvoline Weekend Allstars points-paying event.

On July 19, the pits will open at 1:00 pm, the grandstand gates will open at 3:00 pm, the driver’s meeting will be at 4:30 pm and hot laps will roll out around 5:00 pm. For tickets or discount tickets, please log on to https://www.myracepass.com/tracks/3176/tickets/1443039 .

The tire rule at Atomic Speedway will be: Fronts & Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2 & NLMT 3. Right Rear: NLMT 2, NLMT 3 & NLMT 4. The series entry fee is $50 and tow money is $75 for any car not making the field of 22.
