Soggy weather postpones debut for Legends at BMS
April 14, 2022 (CENTERVILLE, AR) - Mother nature would have no part in letting dirt track racing take place in the Natural State this weekend. The series debut for the GRT Legends Late Model Series presented by SuperClean at the Batesville Motor Speedway has been postponed.
‘We were ready to go and I really feel like we were going to have a great turnout’ said series director Justin Newman. The series was set to make its first of (2) trips to the Locust Grove speed plant in 2022 - but that will have to wait until summer now. ‘Mooney is working to find us a date to reschedule. We’ve already lost our first two events due to weather and we want to get a full schedule in’ continued Newman.
The series is set to take on legendary short track I-30 Speedway or better known as, Hammer Hill, on a special Friday night, May 6th, 2022 in support of the ModLite Nationals.
The series will have ‘official series merchandise’ available at all events and online at www.legendslatemodels.com in the coming weeks.
