Winchester Speedway Hosting Winchester 400 Pre-Race Party on Thursday, October 10
Before racing begins at the 53rd Winchester 400 presented by Vores Welding and Steel on October 11-13, take part in the pre-race festivities at Winchester Speedway and in the town of Winchester, Indiana on Thursday, October 10.
The pre-race party takes place from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Thursday at Winchester Speedway. Racing America will be on hand with a special edition of “The Bullring: Hot Laps,” providing live look-ins of the party throughout the evening hosted by Adam Mackey and Michael Brewer. Fans will be able to tune in to these updates on Racing America’s Facebook page and other platforms.
The party will also have several special events for fans and attendees. A Wick’s Celebrity Pie Eating Contest will take place, as well as free screenings of both “Rust to Revival: Winchester Speedway” and “Blink of an Eye,” as well as the 2023 running of the Winchester 400.
Other attractions at the pre-race party include cornhole, food trucks, racing simulators and more. Teams will also be able to utilize this opportunity for hauler unloading and purchasing pit passes, while fans will be able to secure their tickets and Winchester 400 merchandise for the weekend.
Before the pre-race party begins at 3 p.m., be sure to attend the Race Car Cruise-In on the Courthouse Square, taking place from Noon to 2:30 p.m. There will be a parade from the Courthouse Square to Winchester Speedway starting at 2:30 to kick off the pre-race party.
This is just another way Winchester Speedway is looking to make the 53rd Winchester 400 presented by Vores Welding and Steel as special as possible for fans, teams and competitors.
Each ticket comes with a $5.00 voucher to use at Winchester Speedway’s concession stands or gift shop, as well as the chance to the chance to win tickets to marquee short track events. The grand prize for the giveaway is two tickets to the All American 400, along with a two-night hotel stay in Nashville courtesy of Live Luxe Travel Co in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Be sure to arrive early on Saturday, October 12 and enjoy the free Mayor’s Breakfast, with several dignitaries on-hand for a question-and-answer session including Winchester Mayor Bob McCoy, Winchester 400 Grand Marshal Geoff Bodine, and Tom Bigelow.
Fans attending the Winchester 400 race day on Sunday, October 13 can take part in a track walk at 11:30 a.m. ET, as well as observe technical inspection for the ASA STARS National Tour Super Late Model competitors.
It is also promising to be a special Winchester 400 weekend for competitors. Winners across all eight divisions will be presented signature Winchester Rifle trophies, and fast qualifiers will be awarded a specially engraved silver coin presented by SilverTowne of Winchester, Indiana.
