Friday August 7th, TTG 100 Meet & Greet
Belleville, IL – Movin’ Marvin Pruett, Dandy Don Klein, Cyclone Dwight Barbeau, Dan Band Eret and Don Odom are scheduled to attend the traditional Meet & Greet, taking place before the TTG 100 lapper, honoring the late Mike Meurer. The Meet & Greet will be held at the entrance to the track before the races, so be sure to stop by and get some autographs and pictures taken with some of the St. Louis area veteran drivers!
Mike Meurer, “The Talker Guy,” known by many as TTG, was the pivotal voice at both Belle-Clair Speedway and the Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55. Passing away unexpectedly in 2012, Mike left an unfillable hole in the hearts of many. Countless racers and fans in the Saint Louis area grew up listening to Mike announce, his voice unforgettable and remembered by locals and out of towners, alike. Belle-Clair Speedway is asking fans to wear purple on Friday night in honor of Mike, as purple was Mike’s favorite color shirt to wear on race night.
Pit Gates Open – 3:00pm; Pit Passes - $30.00;
Spectator Gates Open – 5:00 pm; General Admission - $15.00, Under 12 FREE with adult
Hot Laps – 6:00 pm with Racing following hot laps
