For Immediate Release
The 2024 Championship Racing season at Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) continues towards the finish line this Saturday as B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stock drivers search for strong finishes to count towards their championship points season. This weekend’s action presents another opportunity for Super Stock and B-Mod drivers to dial in their machines for the upcoming special events over the Labor Day Weekend and Hog Roast Nationals events.
Joining the weekly racers for this weekend’s action will be the POWRi Late Models. In three guest appearances so far this season, Appleton City’s Johnny Fennewald has a stranglehold on the action. To date, he has claimed all three main events this season at CMS; however, the overall points leader is Tucker Cox of Jefferson City, who will be looking for his first-ever CMS win on Saturday.
For all drivers searching for a change of scenery or those who’ve been meaning to give CMS a try, beginning this Saturday there will be no more “track registration fees” for the remainder of the year. This does not include pit passes or special events. Drivers will still be required to complete registration and tax forms.
Upcoming Events:
Race #18, Saturday, August 17, Weekly Racing: B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks. Plus, Guest Class POWRi Late Models
Race #19, Saturday, August 24
Military Appreciation Night! Weekly Racing: B-Mods, Super Stocks, Midwest Mods, and Pure Stocks, Plus, Guest Class MoKan IMCA 305 Sprints, $5 Adm Active/Retired Military.
