Gray finishes second in opener
CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (March 30) — Jim Gray and the Jimmy Gray Motorsports team opened the season March 30 at Clarksville (Tenn.) Speedway. Despite trying to kill the infield yuke tire in turn four on lap three of the feature, Jim was credited with a runner-up finish. Jim was running second when he made contact with the monster tire, that seemingly came out of nowhere. With two cars in the four-car feature already crashed out, Jim was credited with second place when the race was halted. Braeden Frost was declared the winner.
