Cottage Grove Speedway
DRIVER INFO FOR SATURDAY, AUGUST 1ST!!
It is our goal to keep improving the process each week and make things as normal as possible for our drivers and crews. Here is just a little bit of helpful information to make Saturday less chaotic!
Once again the pit area will be split into 2 sections, the regular pits in the back will house Late Models, Limited Sprints, and Modifieds. The front parking lot will be Sport Compacts, Stree Stocks, and Sportmods. All line-ups and staging for these classes will be done from that class's pit area.
This week we will also be opening a 2nd pit window at the front gate to make things easier for those pitted out front. Sport Compacts, Street Stocks, and Sportmods will need to sign in and draw pills from the FRONT pit window and Late Models, Limited Sprints, and Modifieds will need to do it from the BACK pit window. If you are running multiple classes you may need to check in and draw pills from both windows.
Gates will open at noon, please do not park until gates are open and an attendant has shown you were to park. We are once again expecting a large turnout and need to be sure we have room for everyone, please be patient and courteous to parking staff!!
All grandstands will be open as pit stands to allow for social distancing, pit passes can be purchased for $40.00. You are not required to enter with a team but all personal vehicles need to park at the fairgrounds. You can also purchase the race live at www.dirtovaltv.com
Please remember that our entire property is considered a pit area at this time, everyone here must have a pit pass!! Also there is no alcohol allowed anywhere in the pit area. Photography and videography is completely prohibited at this time by anyone other than our staff, this applies to our entire property.
Please remember these rules are in place so that we can stay open and keep you all racing. If any of these rules seem unfair or you won't be able to follow them please stay home!
The rest of you we will see Saturday night for an awesome night of racing at Cottage Grove Speedway!!
