Tonight’s Events Are On! A&A Electric Southern MN Spring Challenge Starts at 6:00 p.m.
SPRING VALLEY, MN – May 25, 2013: Mother Nature has made life difficult this Spring but she won’t keep us from racing tonight. You read it right race fans. THE RACES SCHEDULED FOR TONIGHT ARE ON!
The USTMS Modifieds will headline the 11th A&A Electric Southern Minnesota Spring Challenge and will have their hands full as the most talented weekly field in the country will do it’s best to protect its turf. BREAKING NEWS: $1,000 added to tonight's USMTS Modified A-Main courtesy of Randy and Patty Eastvold. (Top 10 finishers each get $100)
Also competing for the first time at The Creek in 2013 will be the fan favorite Iron Man Stock Cars and the highly competitive Iron Man B-Mod series. Â The WISSOTA Super Stocks and Street Stock divisions will also be on hand.
The weekend’s event will kick off at 3:00 p.m. on Button Buck Speedway as the Pee-Wee, Junior, and Senior Truck Country Slingshot divisions will fight it out during night #3 of the championship point battle. Don’t forget that the afternoon events are FREE in the grandstands for ALL ages!
$1 Beer, Pop, and Hot Dogs from 4:00-5:00p.m. this afternoon!
Hot laps sessions are scheduled to start at 5:30 on Deer Creek Speedway and the first green flag will fly at 6:00!
Teams are asked to arrive early to ensure the proper paperwork and pre-race inspections can be performed. Raceceivers and transponders will be required with a limited quantity available to rent.
Adult grandstand tickets are $18 and kids 12 and under are $5. Pit passes are $30
The Deer Creek Speedway is a high-banked three-eighths-mile clay oval located 11.3 miles south of I-90 (exit 209) on SR 16, then 0.7 mile north on US 63.
