Nate Beyenhof Tops WISSOTA Late Models for First Career Win at The Creek
Spring Valley MN - June 22, 2013:Â Â (Photos courtesy of Buck Monson Photo) Another Saturday of racing action at Deer Creek Speedway was again hampered by Mother Nature's presence. Despite a slightly damp pit area that had sections roped off due to oversaturated grounds from the 2" of rain in the previous 48 hours, 124 cars found plenty of parking room to check into the pit area. Unfortunately as the night went on a few hit and miss sprinkles kept the crowd damp and the track very fast. As the last race pulled onto the speedway the skies opened ending the nights racing action and sending the NAPA AutoCare USRA Modifieds to the pits without turning a feature lap. Next week there will be double features in the Modifieds.
Ryan Hensel jumped out to the early lead in the Dirt Doctor Trucking WISSOTA Midwest Modified feature race with Ryan Siegle in second. Grant Southworth moved up to race with Siegle for the second spot as Hensel slipped allowing Siegle and Southworth to now race for the top spot. A caution flew on lap three as Mike Mehling oiled down the track from a motor going south. On the restart Southworth led with Jason Born moving into the second spot. Dustin Scott and Greg Pfeifer Jr. split Siegle to move their battle into a battle for third. Born pressured Southworth for the lead as Scott started to close in on the leaders. Jared Boumeester moved into the fourth spot while Cory Crapser moved into fifth after starting twenty second on the field with six down. With seven down Scott moved past Born for the second spot and started to pressure Southworth for the lead. With eight down they were side by side for the lead with Born right there in third. Scott took the lead on lap nine and was never challenged to the finish. Jared Boumeester made a late run working past Southworth on lap ten and then under Born on lap twelve but was unable to make up any ground on Scott who checked out for the win. At the line it was Scott with the win, Boumeester, Born, Southworth and Crapser rounding out the top five. Heat race wins went to Hensel, Scott and Casey Trom
In the SixTwo Graphics WISSOTA Street Stocks Troy Voth and Karl Hewitt Jr were side by side for the lead on lap one. Voth took the lead as the first caution flew over the speedway. On the restart Voth led with Mike Blowers working into second. Bobby Kilby and Hewitt Jr., touches as they raced for the third spot allowing Danny Richards to move into third. Kilby took over the third spot as Voth continued to lead up front. With six down Blowers pulled up to Voth and started to pressure Voth for the lead. Blowers led lap eight while Shaun Mann moved into the top five. With ten down Richards started to pressure Voth for the second spot. Richards couldn't quite complete the pass as the laps wore down. As the white flew Richards was able to get a run out of turn two and took over the second spot. At the finish it was Blowers again with the win, Richards, Voth, Mann and Fred Prudoehl rounded out the top five. Heat races were won by Voth and Mann. ivermectin homelavet
The Left lane Transport USRA B-Modified feature event was entertaining. Dan Wheeler led early in the feature with Jacob Bleess in second and Mark Motl in third. Cory Crapser and Cole Queensland battled for fourth. A caution after lap one saw Wheeler leading with Ben Moudry moving up to race with Bleess for the second spot. Queensland and Motl raced for the fourth spot. Another caution on lap six saw Queensland shoot throw into the second spot. On the next lap Bleess and Moudry took their battle back to second as the sneaked by Queensland. Crapser moved past Queensland on lap eight for the fourth spot. The caution flew on lap ten as Wheeler slowed quickly with mechanical issues. On the restart Crapser took the lead with Queensland in the second spot. Bleess worked past Queensland for the second spot on lap eleven. Bleess and Queensland raced now for the third spot. Another caution flew on lap thirteen and on the restart Crapser led, Queensland pressured him for the lead down low while Bleess pressured him from on top. Queensland pulled alongside on lap fifteen as the final caution flew. On the restart Crapser took away Queensland's line, Queensland changed his line to try and make a pass but Bleess worked by down low to take away the second spot. As the checkers waved it was Crapser, Bleess, Queensland, Parker Hale and Alex Williamson in the top five. Heat races were won by Bleess, Matt Jones, Williamson and Motl.
In the Wagner Trucking WISSOTA Super Stock feature event Dave Solum and Brandon Duellman for the lead early on. Josh Bartel sat in third as Tommy Richards moved up to race with him for third on lap one. With two down Richards took over third and then went three wide for the lead with Duellman and Solum. Richards took over the top spot as a caution flew on lap four. On the restart Richards led with Kelly Anderson moving into second. Jeff Brauer worked into the third spot and challenged Anderson for the second spot on lap six. Brauer took over the second spot on lap eight. Brauer closed in on Richards and the two battled hard for the remaining laps for the top spot. Brauer had a slightly faster line up a groove from the bottom where Richards was running. c lectularius ivermectin Unfortunately Brauer had a spot in the line in one and two that would upset the car slightly causing a little push as they went through the corner. If the spot didn't upset the car Brauer would hold the lead down the back stretch. On the last lap as Brauer edged slightly outfront the bump upset the car once again allowing Richards to retake the lead and the win by a half car length. Brauer, Anderson, Brian Fetting and Duellman rounded out the top five. Heat races were won by Anderson and Bartel
The Altenburg Construction WISSOTA Late Model feature saw another new winner at the track. On the start Nick Herrick and Nate Beyenhof raced for the lead with Mike Prochnow in third early on. With two down Herrick had a slight lead while Prochnow pressured Beyenhof for the second spot. On lap three Beyenhof moved past Herrick for the lead with Prochnow quickly following through into second. Beyenhof pulled out to a couple car length lead with Prochnow not able to gain any ground on him as the laps wound down. John Kaanta moved into the fourth spot with Jake Redetzke moving into fifth on lap fifteen. ivermectin ebay On lap eighteen Beyenhof still looked strong up front but ran into an issue with two back markers racing for position. Beyenhof tried to maneuver through as Prochnow tried a different line and Nick Beyenhof followed his brother. The three were tight for two laps until Nate finally broke past the battle and sailed out front as Nick and Prochnow still sat behind the slower cars. Nate cruised home to take his first ever feature win at the speedway followed by Prochnow, Nick Beyenhof, Kaanta and Redetske. Heat races were won by Herrick and the Beyenhof brothers chalked up the other two heat race wins.
