SPRING VALLEY, MN – July 2, 2013: (Photo Courtesy of Gulbranson Photo) Each year the Blooming Prairie Lions hit the streets and visit local businesses to help make a dream come true for many local late model teams. To many local drivers competing with the World of Outlaw Late Model Series is a once in a lifetime opportunity, however, it’s been an opportunity that the Lions have made possible thanks to the “Team Sponsorship program.
Competing in the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 isn’t only one of the biggest challenges a local driver will face, but one of the most expensive but thanks to the hard work of so many we’re now able to help.
To be eligible for the program drivers must currently be in the top 20 in track points at Deer Creek Speedway or the top 10 in points in the Blaine Brothers WISSOTA Challenge Series. These 30 drivers will get to compete in this prestigious event for FREE! If you’re one of these 30 drivers your name will be on a list at the pit gate and all you have to do is mention this when you show up.
That’s right, this program pays for their entry fee, driver pit passes and any Transponder or Raceceiver rental fees that may apply to enter an event such as this, fees that can accumulate to over $250 per team. Listed below are the “Team Sponsors that have donated to the event to make this dream possible.
