Friday and Saturday Aug 30 and 31st our neighboring track, MIS hosts its biggest event of the regular season...the LEE FIELDS MEMORIAL.

Lee was the driving force in the operation of the Mobile International Speedway for many years.  His trophies included winning here at 5 Flags in the 1970’s at one of the events during Snowball Derby weekend.

He is pictured here accepting the winners trophy from Ed Taylor, who was the sports reporter for WEAR-TV back then.
