ARCA Rolling to Pensacola on March 9th
After a thrilling three wide finish in the season opener at Daytona International Speedway the ARCA Series is headed to Pensacola's 5 Flags Speedway on March the 9th for the first time in over 20 years!
Bringing ARCA back to Pensacola took a collaborative effort from two heavyweight racing promoters, Tim Bryant and Bob Sargent.
Sargent's Track Enterprises already host five ARCA Menards Racing Series events including Nashville and the Dirt races, while the Bryant Family has brought the Snowball Derby to new heights never seen before in its 50 plus year history.
"Hosting an ARCA event is a huge undertaking and we could not have found a better partner in Bob Sargent to help bring one of the most exciting series to one of America's favorite short tracks," said Bryant.
The last time the ARCA Series raced in Pensacola was in 1996, when a young Frank Kimmel took home his only second ARCA Series win.
While a lot of things have changed in 23 years one thing has not, Five Flags Speedway. The pavement Kimmel won on in 1996 is the same pavement the ARCA stars of today will face in trying to win the second race of the 2019 season.
"We promote events all over the country and there are few tracks that have as much history and tenacity as Pensacola's 5 Flags Speedway. We think the fans are in for a show on March the 9th," offered Sargent.
With less than a moth to ARCA's return to Pensacola tickets and camping spots can be purchased online at www.5flagsspeedway.com or calling 850-944-8400.
