"Satterlee Sunday Star With Sagi Tribute Victory at Hagerstown"
Hagerstown MD (7/16/23)- Indiana pennsylvania’s Gregg Satterlee took top honors in last Sunday’s “Frank Sagi Tribute” at Hagerstown Speedway. The win for Satterlee, steering his familiar Robby Allen prepared Rocket no.22, was worth $5015 and would be his 12th career Hagerstown feature win.
Keith Jackson, utilized his front row starting spot to gain the race lead at the drop of the green flag. Jackson’s lead would only last until lap 10 when fifth starting Kyle Lee took over. Gregg Satterlee arrived in second on lap, 13 and eventually ran Lee down to take the lead for good on lap 22. From that point on it was a race for second, as Satterlee had his car dialed into perfection the score of the win. Tenth starting Kyle Hardy took second, Lee settled for third with Tyler Emory and Keith Jackson completing the top five. Scoring heat race victories over the 43 car field were Jason Covert, Keith Jackson, Mark Pettyjohn and Satterlee with twin B mains going to Trevor Collins and Logan Zarin.
