SATTERLEE IS SAGI TRIBUTE WINNER; RAIN POSTPONES SEMI LATE AND PURE STOCKS

Gregg Satterlee took checkers Saturday night in the annual Frank Sagi Tribute race at Hagerstown Speedway. 2nd place starting Satterlee quickly overtook pole setter Matt Glanden on the 1st lap then went on to lead every lap during the 35 lap event. Satterlee went unchallenged for the duration of the feature, pulling away to a 5.6 second lead at the finish. Matt Cosner advanced to finish 2nd at the finish. Trever Feathers, Rick Eckert and Kyle Hardy rounded out the top 5. Glanden, Satterlee, Andrew Yoder and Cosner won heat races for the 37 entries. Cosner also set overall fast time with a time of 17.916 seconds.
Semi Lates and Pure Stocks were also in action, but the features were washed out and postponed. Dillon Wilson and Allen Brannon won the heat races for the Semi Lates. Brandon Churchey and Dylan Beaver won the Pure Stock heat races.
The postponed Semi Lates feature will be ran on Saturday, July 19th and the Pure Stock feature will be added to the July 26th program
Hagerstown Speedway returns to racing actions this Saturday, July 19th for the 78th season special for the Late Model Sportsman, Crate Late Models, Semi Lates and Pure Stocks. All divisions will be racing for extra lap features and addition payout.
