Bryant , Garrison, Luthi and Muilenburg Go Back to Back at Humboldt

In Ray’s Metal Depot NASCAR B Modifieds Last weeks winner Andy Bryant from Fort Scott, Kansas fought off a late race rally from Chanute’s Tyler Kidwell and picked up his second feature win on the early year. Tim Van Gotten, Brian McGowen and Kenton Allen rounded out the Top Five.Heat race wins went to Tim Van Gotten, Andy Bryant and Cody Jolly
Action in the Tumbleweed Music Festival Street Stock class saw Dalton Garrison take the lead at the drop of the flag and lead the opening laps until Kenny Shelton brought on a caution on Lap 3. Garrison took advantage of the ensuing restart and led every lap to pick up his second A feature win of the year. Jaylen Wettengel and Jason Thurman rounded out the Top three. Heat race wins went to Dalton Garrison and Kenny Shelton
In Home Savings Bank NASCAR Factory Stock racing Wayne Johnson paced the early laps until Jon Westhoff made the bottom preferred line work for him as he took the lead on lap 4. A late race mishap took out Ellison and Wilson, Jon Westhoff found problems late that allowed Humboldt's Wayne Johnson to pick up the A feature win. Heat race wins went to Wayne Johnson and Jon Westhoff
In the always entertaining O’Reilly Auto Parts Sport Compacts Barry Luthi took the lead and drove away from the field to pick up his second win of the year, Curtis Wilson Jr. finished second and Robert Moore ran third. Heat race wins went to Barry Luthi and Curtis Wilson Jr,
Added to the excitement for 2019 is Love’s Travel Stops Midwest Modifieds which saw Rob Muilenburg pick up his second win on the year, this time he fought of Jerry Brown and Trevor Vann for the victory, Heat race wins went to Rob Muilenburg and Jerry Brown.
Racing returns to Humboldt Speedway on April 19th when Sprint cars invade “The Hummer” with the ASCS Sooner Region, Red River Shootout. Also competing that evening will be Ray’s Metal Depot NASCAR B Modifieds, Home Savings Bank NASCAR Factory Stocks, O’Reilly Auto PArt Sport Compacts and Love’s Travel Stops NASCAR Midwest Modifieds.
