That Time of the Year Again!
It's that time of year again and we are getting geared up for Pink My Ride once again. Because of the support we have received over the last few years Pink My Ride has been able to donate nearly $50,000 to Children's Miracle Network in three short years! Remember, all of this money stays local and is used to support family's that you may know. This could not have been done without the support we've had from the local racers and race fans. We look forward to another successful fundraising campaign with some new ideas to keep things fresh and exciting.
There will be a car show on June 3rd in Rock Rapids, IA at the Pizza Ranch from 5:30-8:00. 95.1 The Eagle will be broadcasting their Thursday Night Thunder show live from the Pizza Ranch from 6:30-7:30. These guys always do a nice job and they will be a great addition to the evening. Thanks to The Eagle for their continued support!
We will be holding our annual car show and dine out at Thunder Road this year on June 5th from 11:00 - 3:00. This should be the perfect venue for it. We will be selling special Pink My Ride tickets from now until the day of the event for $5. These tickets will be good for anything in the park with 50% of the ticket sales going to Children's Miracle Network. Tracy and I will have the tickets available wherever we are racing until then. Nick's Hamburger Shop out of Brookings will be coming down to cater the meal. If any of you went to school in Brookings you know about Nick's! It will be $5 a plate, you will get 2 burgers, chips and a drink.
There will also be a car show and dine out at Runnings Farm and Fleet on Saturday June 5th from 11:00-1:00. They will be serving hotdogs and soda for $1 with proceeds being donated to Children's Miracle Network. 95.1 The Eagle will once again be on hand with a Live Remote from the car show.
We are also proud to announce that we signed a $100,000 pledge for Pink My Ride to sponsor a room in the Pediatric Outpatient wing at Sanford Children's Hospital. The $25,000 donated last year will go towards this so we have $75,000 to raise over the next 4 years to fulfill this pledge. Again, we are confident we can do this because of all of your support. Pink My Ride is now considered a major contributor by CMN and Sanford Children's Hospital.
