Pair of Top-10 finishes in Spring Nationals opening weekend

Taking part in the Schaeffer’s Spring Nationals doubleheader, Jensen Ford visited Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) on Friday afternoon as the mini-series kicked off the 2022 slate. Earning the 13th-starting position for the $10,053-to-win A-Main via preliminary results, Ford got spun around early in the race but rebounded late in the 53-lapper to finish eighth. On Saturday evening at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Ford’s fourth-place finish in his heat race pinned him 14th on the starting grid for the main event. With $10,053 on the line, Jensen clawed forward four spots to register a ninth-place finish.
