Third-place finishes at Swainsboro and Senoia

Mark Whitener traveled to the Peach State on Friday afternoon to enter the Big Frog Motorsports No. 58 into battle at Swainsboro Raceway (Swainsboro, Ga.) for the Schaeffer’s Oil Spring Nationals opener. For another $10,053-to-win A-Main on Saturday evening at Senoia Raceway (Senoia, Ga.), Mark clocked in third-fastest overall before placing third in his heat. Passing six cars in the 53-lap feature, Whitener recorded another third-place finish. He trailed Shane Clanton and Dylan Knowles to the checkers with Michael Page and Sam Seawright rounding out the Top-5.
