UMP Mod/Canadian Mods Return Victoria Day at Merrittville
THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 2nd, 2022) … Merrittville Speedway is pleased to announce the return of UMP Modifieds/Canadian Modifieds to Canada’s oldest dirt track. They will join Zavitz & Sykora Financial night on Victoria Day Monday May 23rd, 2022. This marks the first appearance of the UMP/CDN Mods at Merrittville since 2019. They will be joined by the S.O.S. Sprints for their second of four stops, the Right Choice Auto and Leisure DIRTcar Sportsman, and Hoosier Stocks.
The field will consist of UMP Modified drivers who compete at Southern Ontario Motor Speedway and the Canadian Modifieds who race at Brighton Speedway. The 25 Lap feature will pay $175 to start, and the top 10 payout is as follows:
- 1st $750
- 2nd $600
- 3rd $500
- 4th $400
- 5th $350
- 6th $300
- 7th $275
- 8th $250
- 9th $225
- 10th $200
