Motosports of Trenton Adds Bonus to Victoria Monday Modified Race
THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 9th, 2022) … When the UMP Modifieds/Canadian Modified's return to Merrittville Speedway on Monday May 23rd , they now will be running for $1000.00 to win. Motosports of Trenton has added an extra $500.00 bonus to the already extravagant purse. They will pay an extra $250.00 to the top finishing UMP Modified finisher and an additional $250.00 to the top Canadian Modified finisher.
Zavitz & Sykora Financial will be title sponsor of Victoria Day Monday show. The event will mark the first appearance of the UMP/CDN Mods at Merrittville since 2019 at Canada’s oldest dirt track. They will be joined by the S.O.S. Sprints for their second of four stops, the Right Choice Auto and Leisure DIRTcar Sportsman, and Hoosier Stocks.
The Modifieds will be racing for 25 laps on Merrittville's 3/8 mile D shaped dirt track and will be competing for up to $6800 in prize money. Winner's share being $1000 and $175 to take the green.
