Flyin’ Brian Stevens Memorial Night This Coming Saturday night at Merrittville
THOROLD, ONTARIO (May 9, 2022) … Merrittville Speedway will be honoring and remembering CAA Niagara Wall of Famer “Flyin’” Brian Stevens this coming Saturday night as 2cool Automotive presents the Brian Stevens Memorial for the Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modifieds. As part of the Brian Stevens Memorial night, there will be a $444 Pole Dash challenge for the Modifieds.
A Bobcat of Hamilton Weekly Racing Series program of the Right Choice Auto & Leisure DIRTcar Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders, and the RONA Doidge Builders Mod Lites will also be in competition. The 4 Cylinders will also be headlining the program with home race number one for the Insta Panels Duel on the DIRT.
Brian Stevens was a long-time modified racer and champion at Merrittville, Humberstone and Ransomville. his career spanned from the mid 1970's right up until 2010 and he scored nearly 150 feature wins. Brian passed away in February, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer.

Pit gates will open at 5:00pm, grandstands opening at 5:30, and racing will begin at 7:00pm on Saturday night at “Canada’s Oldest Dirt Track”, Merrittville Speedway.
