Canadian Grand Nationals This Monday
THOROLD, ONTARIO (July 31, 2023) … The 2nd Canadian Grand Nationals will be taking place on Civic Holiday Monday, August 7 at Merrittville Speedway. Presented by Baron Roofing & Siding, the Canadian Grand Nationals will feature a 72-lap event for the Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modifieds, plus a full show of Right Choice Auto & Leisure Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders (Combined Duel on the Dirt Event).
The 358 Modifieds will be racing for $4000 to win, the DIRTcar Sportsman and the Hoosier Stocks see the winner getting $2000. The Mod Lites and 4 Cylinders will win $1000. The night will also feature a chance for a fan to walk away with $1000 cash and a young fan can walk away with 1000 pieces of candy.
Pit gates will open at 5pm, with grandstands opening at 5:30pm, and racing will begin at 7:00pm on Monday night.
