Lakeside Speedway Welcomes Racers for Christy’s Tasty Queen Night!

(Kansas City, Kansas) This weekend’s action at Lakeside Speedway is presented by Christy’s Tasty Queen and features racing among A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, Pure Stocks, E-Mods, and Grand Nationals.

A long-time supporter of area racing and friends of the speedway, Christy's Tasty Queen, located at 1405 South 55th Street in Kansas City, Kansas, is well known for KC’s best pork tenderloins. Specializing in American food, Christy’s Tasty Queen serves all the traditional fast-food favorites as well as fresh salads and features specials throughout the week. The restaurant operates Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Last weekend was another exciting round of weekly championship racing with close finishes as minimal as .013th of a second. This week is expected to once again provide some of the fastest and closest racing in the entire Midwest for another week of Racing on the River’s Edge in the track’s 66th season of competition!

For anyone wishing to watch the races from the privacy of their own home, head over to the all-new pay-per-view feature at www.lakesidespeedway.net. Last week, fans from 12 states watched the first-ever weekly racing broadcast from the track.

Fans may purchase tickets online through midnight on Thursday with a limited amount of tickets available at the gate on race night. Advanced tickets are available at MyRacePass.com under the Lakeside Speedway Profile by clicking here or by calling call 913-299-9206. Terrace Spots are available but must be reserved by calling the track in advance.

COVID-19 related social distancing is recommended and masks are required per the Kansas Governor’s executive order. Concessions are limited at this time due to national food shortages related to COVID-19. Lakeside Speedway will follow CDC Recommendations, which may affect logistics and “normal” operating procedures. Attendees are responsible for their own personal protective equipment and decisions regarding attendance and social distancing. When parking in the pit area, drivers are reminded to leave extra space between race cars and to not gather in groups. Race teams are limited to 10 people per team, which is monitored when signing in.
