Karl Tinsley Memorial Features $500-to-Win Pure Stocks Friday at Lakeside Speedway!

(Kansas City, Kansas) The late season specials for race divisions continues Friday at Lakeside Speedway honoring late race engine builder Karl Tinsley, with the Karl Tinsley $500-to-win Pure Stock Memorial.

Drivers will compete under the MO-KAN Pure Stock rules, which are conveniently located on the speedway website at www.lakesidespeedway.net, from there, click on the RULES/FORMS link at the top of the page and scroll down to select “2020 Mo-Kan Pure Stock Rules.”

The payout for the Karl Tinsley Memorial is: 1st $500, 2nd $300, 3rd $275, 4th $250, 5th $225, 6th $200, 7th $175, 8th $150, 9th $130, 10th $120, 11th $110, 12th $100, 13th to 24th) $75. Tow money is $50. All total, the special purse is $3,435. The entry fee for Pure Stock drivers is $25 for Non-Registered Drivers, there is no entry fee for track-registered drivers.

Joining the Pure Stocks to complete the night’s program are A-Mods, B-Mods, Stock Cars, E-Mods, and Grand Nationals for a full night of racing on the final season championship points night of racing. Here is a look at the top five in each division heading into the final night of championship points this Friday.

COVID-19 related social distancing is recommended and masks are required per the Kansas Governor’s executive order. Concessions are limited at this time due to national food shortages related to COVID-19. Lakeside Speedway will follow CDC Recommendations, which may affect logistics and “normal” operating procedures. Attendees are responsible for their own personal protective equipment and decisions regarding attendance and social distancing.
