Williamson Preparing for Debut at 300 Raceway and Park Jefferson This Weekend

Inside Line Promotions – COLUMBIA, Mo. (April 12, 2021) – Garet Williamson will make his debut at a pair of dirt ovals this weekend during Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour competition.

The Bryant Paver Motorsports driver is set to compete on Friday at 300 Raceway in Farley, Iowa, and on Saturday at Park Jefferson International Speedway in North Sioux City, S.D. Friday will mark the ASCS National Tour debut at 300 Raceway and Saturday’s show is just the second ever for the series at Park Jefferson International Speedway.

“It’s my first time at both tracks,” he said. “We’ll go there and try to find similarities with other tracks I’ve been to. We’ll try to watch as much racing throughout the night and watching other classes will help, too.”

Williamson isn’t a stranger to making his debut at a track this year. Four of the six tracks he’s competed at in 2021 have been his first appearance.

“We have twice as many laps as we did at this point last year and we’ve seen more tracks and faced more adversity so that is a confidence booster,” he said. “We’ve hit a rough stretch lately though so two top 10s this weekend would be huge for me and the team.”

Williamson enters the weekend tied for 14th in the ASCS National Tour championship standings. However, he is only 29 points out of ninth place.
