SSP Returns For 98.7 The Bull Night At The Races On Saturday May 4th

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park begins the May portion of racing this Saturday, on the 4th. The “Banks Bullring” had a wonderful opening night of action last weekend and looks to build off that success. Classes on the card include IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks/IMCA Hobby Stocks, 4-Bees, and both classes of Micro Sprints.
The wonderful people from 98.7 The Bull will be in attendance so be sure to stop by their booth to earn some wonderful prizes. They will also be offering a chance to win tickets for a future race.
Jeremy Martin won the first IMCA Modified race of the new campaign while Arnie Case took home the trophy of the Street Stock Bobby Morley Memorial. Jacob Myers cracked off the first triumph at the ¼-mile clay oval in Pure Stock/IMCA Hobby Stock competition while Jeremy Hughes got the job done in the 4-Bees.
The Micro divisions will be making their 2019 racing debut. In the Micro Sprints Allison Johnson was the 2018 Restricted champion and tied Macie Logsdon with a pair of victories to each other’s credit while Jeff Little dominated the Open division with six triumphs for his second straight crown.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:00. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. For more information log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.
