$500.00 To Win Iron Man 100 For Pure Stocks/IMCA Hobby Stocks Next For SSP; $3.00 Draft Beers On Sale

Banks, Oregon- Sunset Speedway Park returns to racing on Saturday, June 1st, for the Iron Man 100. This event is the biggest race of the campaign for the Pure Stocks/IMCA Hobby Stocks. Also, on the card will be the IMCA Modifieds, 4-Bees, New Bees, and the Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series. The track is running a special for draft beers for only $3.00.
Past winners of the Iron Man 100 include John Henry, Joey Tardio, Larry Brookshire, and Bert Pegg. There has yet to be a repeat winner in the one-hundred lap event. The same parity in wins is also the case for the Pure Stock/IMCA Hobby Stock class in 2019. Austin Henderson, Kendall Lee, and Jacob Myers have all gotten one victory each. Greg Walters is the only two race winner in the IMCA Modifieds while Doug Lockwood and Jeremy Martin have one triumph to their credit to their names.
The 4-Bees have just one driver that has bested the field twice this year, Jeremy Hughes. Captain Turnabout and Ryan Conroy have one victory while the New Bees only has visited SSP once in 2019 with Andie Keller parking it in the winner’s circle. The Big Sky Landscaping IMCA Stock Car Series make their debut after an exciting race earlier in the campaign at Willamette Speedway.
Pit Gates open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates 4:00, with Racing kicking off at 6:00. Tickets are $13.00 for Adults and Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-17) $10.00. A Family Pass (Two Adults and up to four Youths) is offered for $35.00 while Premium Seats are available for $25.00 each. For more information log on to www.sunsetspeedwaypark.com.
