Dover Aiming for First Victory at Valley Speedway on Saturday

Inside Line Promotions – SPRINGFIELD, Neb. (April 21, 2015) – Jack Dover heads into this Saturday’s ASCS Warrior Region season-opening event seeking his first victory of the season.

Dover is slated to race at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Mo., where he is also aiming for his first career triumph.

“Valley Speedway is a tight, high-banked bullring where you have to be elbows up from the drop of the green flag until the checkered flag is waved,” he said. “A lot can happen in a short amount of time there so you have to be cautiously aggressive and hope things fall the right way for you.”

Dover finished 11th and 22nd, respectively, at the bullring in 2013 and he rallied from 19th to 12th in 2012.

While Dover has yet to win at Valley Speedway, he enters this weekend looking to secure an ASCS Warrior Region feature victory for the fifth straight season. Dover has recorded five wins in limited races with the region since it joined with ASCS.

“We are confident that we can go into this weekend’s race and be a contender,” he said. “We need to get that first mark in the win column and hopefully that will happen on Saturday.”
