Jankowiak, Cryan, Weber, Bryant, Ingerick, and Deyoe Jr Score Pink Out Night Victories

LANCASTER, N.Y. (July 19, 2025) – Second-generation driver Andy Jankowiak from Tonawanda, NY used a mid-race restart to take the lead and go on to win his second Sportsman feature of the season and 50th career Lancaster Motorplex victory on Pink Out Night Saturday night. With the victory in the Super Stock race, Buffalo, NY’s Andy Cryan earned a guaranteed starting spot for the GTR Promotions Dave London Memorial at the Oswego Speedway Labor Day Weekend. Hall of Fame racer Bobby Weber from Clarence Center, NY returned to victory lane after winning the Late Model feature. Multi-generational driver Nathan Bryant used a late-race pass to earn the Street Stock victory. Colton Ingerick from Caledonia, NY won the Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4 feature. Chris Deyoe Jr from East Otto, NY won the 4 Cylinder feature on Lancaster’s ¼-mile oval.

Carson Kelchlin and Andrew Nye were on the front row for the Sportsman feature, with Kelchlin in the lead ahead of Tyler Catalano, George Skora III, Tony Hanbury, and Andy Jankowiak. Catalano would take over the lead on lap six, with Skora battling with Kelchlin for second place. Skora would move into second on lap eight, with Jankowiak following Skora to move into third place. As the top three (Catalano, Skora, Jankowiak) pulled away from the field, Kelchlin would hold off battles from both Hanbury and Shawn Nye. Skora would take over the lead exiting turn four on lap 17, with Jankowiak taking over second on lap 19. Chris Pennell spun on the back straightway to bring out the caution on lap 22. The restart would have Skora and Jankowiak bringing the field back to the green flag, with Jankowiak taking over the lead ahead of Skora and Catalano. Catalano would take over second from Skora on lap 24, as Jankowiak jumped out into the lead. Jankowiak would hold off the field to score his second win of the season, and his 50th career Lancaster triumph.

Andy Cryan and Tim Farro shared the front row for the Super Stock feature, with Cryan taking over the lead ahead of Ryan Lagoda, and Nick Rickard. Jimmy Steffenhagen would take over third on lap two. Jason Dieter would pass Rickard on lap four to move into fourth place, as the lead trio started to pull away from the field. Lagoda would close in on Cryan for the lead on lap 11, as the leaders closed in on lap traffic. Cryan would hold off Lagoda to score the win and the guaranteed starting spot in the Dave London Memorial on Labor Day Weekend at Oswego Speedway.

Josh Schosek and Eddie Murray brought the Street Stocks to the green flag for their feature event, with Schosek jumping into the lead ahead of Murray, Donnie Aquino, Dan Dressel, and Dustin Novoa. Novoa would pass Dressel for third place on lap six, as David Brunka raced in fifth place. The caution would come out on lap seven as Troyer Catalano came to a stop in turn three. During the caution, Dustin Novoa and Ed Murray went to the pits, with Murray being the only car returning to the track. Josh Schosek would take off in the lead on the restart, as Dressel would pass Aquino to take over second place. Mark Hoch would pass Kyle Schosek for fourth place on lap 13 and then would pass Aquino to take over third just one lap later, with Nathan Bryant following Hoch all the way up through the field. Hoch would pass Dressel on lap 15 for second, with Bryant following into third. Hoch and Bryant would reel in Schosek in the late going. The caution would come out on lap 22, as Evan Janek spun in turn four. On the restart, Schosek would be in the lead, with Bryant taking over second. Bryant would use the inside to take over the lead coming to the white flag and he would lead the final lap to earn the feature win, his first of the season.

Jacob Gustafson and Bob Weber shared the front row for the Late Model feature, with Gustafson in the lead. The caution would come out as Dave Whittaker spun in turn three and collected Todd Delisle and Matt Druar. Delisle was able to continue, but Whittaker’s and Druar’s night came to an end before it started. With Gustafson in the lead on the restart, Eldon King would battle with Bob Weber for second place, but Weber would hold King off. Weber would close in on Gustafson to battle for the lead, with Weber taking the top spot with three laps to go. Weber to go on to score the win, his first since July 16, 2016.

Ryan Hessler and Eric Black were on the front row for the Rusty Diamond Cores Pro 4 feature, with Hessler in the lead ahead of Black, with Colton Ingerick racing in third place. Black would take over the lead, with Colton and Caiden Ingerick racing in positions two and three respectively. Colton Ingerick would pass Black for the lead, and he would go on to earn his first career Lancaster victory.

Connor Kurdziel and Ben Adams brought the 4 Cylinders to the green flag for their main event, with Adams taking over the lead, with Hunter McKay racing in second place. Chris Deyoe Jr would take over the lead on lap two, with Adams in second. Kyle Casper would work his way into the top two after passing Adams on lap three. Deyoe and Casper would battle for the lead as they would pull away from the field. Hunter McKay would take over third prior to the race’s halfway point. Ashton Hannon spun in turn one to bring out the caution with four laps remaining.

Racing returns on Saturday, August 2 for Autograph Night! The Tour-Type Modifieds will be back in the house plus Sportsman, Street Stocks, Mighty TQ Midgets, and the 4 Cylinders. Pit gates will open at 2pm, with practice beginning at 4pm, and racing will get underway at 6pm.
