Feger grabs pair of Top-10 finishes with MARS in tripleheader weekend
Following the series to the neighboring state of Iowa, Jason Feger unloaded his Titan Industries No. 25 machine at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa) on Thursday afternoon to kick off a three-day weekend with the MARS Late Models.
Among a strong 43-car field, Feger raced his way into the $5,000-to-win feature through a B-Main and made up eight positions over 40-laps to secure a Top-10 finish in ninth.
Parked at 34 Raceway (West Burlington, Iowa) for the next two days, Jason kicked off the Slocum 50 weekend with a ninth-place outing in the opener.
With the $10,555 finale payday on the line Saturday night, Feger fell backwards in his heat race and had to a take a provisional to start the main event. Jason passed eight competitors as he rallied to finish 14th in the 50-lapper.
Feger is currenlty ninth in the series point standings.
