Grants, Pueblo, El Paso, and Las Cruces
What to say...... It's been an Amazing three weeks of racing. I started off racing in Grants for the first time ever. We didn't have large field of cars but the experience was really worth it! Even with the rain delays. I had a clean sweep for the weekend with a win in the Heat and the main event.
Next up was getting back in my Asphalt car. I haven't raced asphalt since March and lets just say things are really different. I was in new car and things just didn't feel right at first. Practice day was good and I was under the track record, but when race day came the weather had changed and my set ups were off. I qualified 7th and only moved one position for a 5th place finish in the heat. I was going to make some changes for the main, however we ended up getting rained out and the race was over. Overall a good experience and it was good getting back in an asphalt car again.
Now back to dirt this last weekend. Racing didn't start so well in El Paso. I started in the 3rd position in the heat and that's were I finished. I made a couple of adjustments to the car, and the main event proved to be a whole other story. I pulled off the win but the 77of Brady Lebree was on my bumper and he wasn't about to give up without a fight to the finish. Better luck next time Brady I have some points to make up for if I'm going to challenge you for the Championship.
Las Cruces was Saturday night racing and I was fast from the start. Winning the heat and the main.
We're back to El Paso and Las Cruces this coming weekend and there may be some changes coming down the pipeline soon so stay tuned!
