Jackson Motorplex Congratulates its Eight Track Champions

Inside Line Promotions – JACKSON, Minn. (Sept. 6, 2016) – Jackson Motorplex would like to congratulate its eight track champions following a successful season at the half-mile oval, which underwent an extensive renovation in the offseason.

Here are the track champions in order of largest margin of victory:

Gregg Bakker used three feature victories, seven top fives and 12 top 10s to win the Last-Deck® 360 Sprint Cars championship by 57 points.

Ian Madsen garnered five top fives during six Spirit Lake Silver & Gold NSL 410 Sprint Cars features to capture the division title by 51 points.

Jason Andrews won four main events, which was tied for the most in the Bohl’s Small Engine & Marine IMCA Sport Mods class, en route to garnering the championship by 29 points.

Don Gerritsen Jr. was the most consistent driver in the Wilmont Oil IMCA A-Mods division as he posted 10 top 10s to win by 28 points.

Mike Stien recorded eight top fives and 10 top 10s in 10 Liquid Nitro IMCA 305 Sprint Cars main events to earn the crown by 27 points.

Nate Coopman, who scored a track-record nine consecutive victories, earned the Boji Bay Water Park IMCA Sport Compacts by 24 points.

Justin Luinenburg capitalized on seven feature triumphs to pocket the Minnesota West – Jackson Campus IMCA Hobby Stocks championship by 17 points.

Luke Sathoff claimed the closest battle as he won the After Hours Graphics & Tees IMCA Stock Cars title by only one point thanks to a division leading 11 top fives.

Jackson Motorplex will be off the next two weeks before hosting its final event of the season on Sept. 24 for the IMCA Stock Car Nationals.
