Pair of podiums at Davenport and Maquoketa

Friday night found Spencer Diercks in action at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) competing in a field of 30 IMCA Modifieds.

With a ninth-to-third run in his heat race placing him on the fifth row for the feature, Spencer rallied after an early spinout to finish third in the 20-lap affair. He chased Chris Zogg and Travis Denning to the checkers.

The following night at Maquoketa Speedway (Maquoketa, Iowa), Diercks’ third-place finish in his heat positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the main event. Advancing six spots, Spencer raced to a third-place finish, which came behind Jeff Larson and Jed Freiburger.
