Willard captures first win of the season at Poplar Bluff

Brennon Willard visited Victory Lane for the first time in 2020 Friday night in his Hudson Feed and Grain No. 3w Willard Asphalt/ Barry Wright Icon/ Scott Bailey Racing Engines Super Late Model.

Willard’s maiden voyage to the winner’s circle this season came during the Fall Brawl at Missouri’s Poplar Bluff Motorsports Park.

“Thank you to my family, crew, sponsors, and everyone who has made this possible for us,” Willard said. “It was a flawless night for the team. It felt great to finally put our Barry Wright Icon in Victory Lane. Hopefully we can build on this and finish the year strong.”

Jumping up two spots in his heat race to pick up the win, Willard locked into the pole position for the A-Main. Running away with his first victory of the season, Brennon pocketed a $1,000 payday.
