Willard passes 14 cars in Ron Jenkins Memorial at Wheatland
Taking part in the Lucas Oil Midwest LateModel Racing Association (MLRA) Labor Day weekend doubleheader, Brennon Willard visited Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday night for the Ron Jenkins Memorial. After failing to finish both his heat race and B-Main, Willard was granted a provisional into the opening night feature. With $6,000 on the line, advanced through the field 14 spots to register a 10th place finish. (Todd Boyd photo)
The following night at Randolph County Raceway (Moberly, Mo.) for the Scottie 46, Brennon retired early from his heat race, which transferred him into the $5,000-to-win A-Main with the 20th-starting position. Improving eight spots in the 46-lap affair, Willard reeled in a 21st place finish.
