Brennon Willard debuts with Hell Tour at Springfield and Eldon

Brennon Willard made his first start with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals on Thursday afternoon at Springfield Raceway (Springfield, Mo.) for the ninth round of the Hell Tour. In a field of 28 cars, Willard followed up the eighth fastest time in his group with an eighth place finish in his hieat. The following night at Lake Ozark Speedway (Eldon, Mo.), Brennon posted a sixth place finish in his heat race, transferring him into the B-Main for another shot at the $5,000-to-win A-Main. Coming one spot shy with fourth place outing, Willard was granted a provisional into the show. Rolling off 21st, Brennon Willard marched forward five spots to register a 16th place finish.
