Willard attends Lucas Oil doubleheader at Wheatland

Saturday night found Brennon Willard in action at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the 28th annual Show-Me 100 presented by ProtectTheHarvest.com. Drawing 48 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries, Willard recorded the 19th fastest time in his qualifying group before placing seventh in his heat. Needing a third place finish or better in his B-Main to make the $20,000-to-win A-Main, Brennon fell short with a 11th place outing.

Returning on Sunday afternoon for the CMH Diamond Nationals, Brennon came in 11th in his heat race, giving him one final shot at the $12,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Sending the Top 3 into the show, Willard logged a 11th place outing, bringing an early end to his weekend.
