Carl Bowser Racing Fields Second Team for Limited 2020 Schedule
Butler, P.A. – (July 9, 2020) – Carl Bowser Racing is pleased to announce that the team will be fielding a second entry for a limited number of events in 2020. The car will make its debut on Friday, July 10th, piloted by Jim Perricone.
“We had been bouncing this idea around for about a year and we’re excited that it’s finally coming to fruition,” Carl Bowser said. “We started offering shock services in 2014 and it’s just grown since then. I started building at least one car for someone else every offseason, and then added maintenance for a local team every week. I knew at that point I wanted to try and field our own second entry but we just needed to put all the pieces into place.”
The Carl Bowser Racing #87 team will make appearances at local tracks including Lernerville Speedway, Pittsburgh’s Pennsylvania Motor Speedway, Sharon Speedway and Tri-City Raceway Park in 2020 with multiple drivers, starting with Perricone.
“I’m really excited and thankful that Jim approached us about putting a deal together for 2020,” Bowser said. “With the current state of the racing industry, I really didn’t think this would be the year to kick something like this off. But Jim is a good, smooth driver with plenty of experience, and you want to put someone you trust like that into your car.”
Bowser will continue to pilot the Carl Bowser Racing #11 car at local and regional events in 2020. The team has already posted a win at Tri-City Raceway Park in 2010 on June 28th and has yet to finish a race outside of the top five this year.
“I am just so thankful for the crew of guys that we have in our corner,” Bowser said. “This is a lot of moving pieces, and we couldn’t do any of it without Jeff Swartzlander and Cody Weibel being so knowledgeable and focused on our #11 car. It frees me up to be able to work with other guys.”
The #11 team’s upcoming schedule includes races at Lernerville Speedway, including the World of Outlaws Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup, the Lou Blaney Memorial and Justin Snyder’s Salute to the Troops at Sharon Speedway with the All Star Sprint Circuit of Champions, and local events at Tri-City Raceway Park.
The Carl Bowser Racing #87 is open to marketing partnerships for a limited number of events. If interested, please contact Kristin Swartzlander at kristin@dirtymouthcommunications.com
The Carl Bowser Racing #11 team would like to thank their 2020 marketing partners: Wicked Cushion, Turner Dairy Farms, DirtyMouth Communications, Reeseman Body Shop, Ringer’s Pet Dog Training, Precise Tool and Die, Rosencrance Lawn Care, Hoosier Mid-Atlantic/ Precise Racing Pittsburgh, and Alternative Power Sources.
