Bogucki Tackling World of Outlaws Races at U.S. 36 Raceway, I-80 Speedway and Huset’s Speedway

Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 25, 2020) – Scott Bogucki is joining the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series for a pair of doubleheaders during the new two weeks.
The SawBlade.com sponsored sprint car driver has a couple more weeks off from Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour action, giving him an opportunity to race with ‘The Greatest Show on Dirt.’
It begins this Saturday at U.S. 36 Raceway in Osborn, Mo., and Sunday at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Neb. Bogucki finished fifth at U.S. 36 Raceway last year and he nearly captured a top 10 at I-80 Speedway during his lone visit three years ago.
“We had good speed there and I have a good handle with U.S. 36,” he said. “We’re with the Outlaws though so it’ll be difficult.
“It’s been a couple of years since I’ve been to I-80 Speedway. I think we won the B Main and ran into the top 10 before we were wrecked in 2017.”
Bogucki will compete the following weekend at Huset’s Speedway in Brandon, S.D., during a $20,000-to-win event. It will be his debut at that high-banked oval.
“I’m excited,” he said. “There will be a lot of good cars there. More than anything it’s just seat time. The more racing you can do the better driver you will be. Plus, I always enjoy climbing in a 410. That’s what I raced back home.”
ASCS National Tour competition resumes Sept. 12 at I-80 Speedway. There are only 10 national shows remaining this season and Bogucki ranks sixth in the championship standings – only five points out of fifth and 110 points out of third.
