Granite State Pro Stock Series Cancels Saturday August 2 Event at Riverside Speedway
In a joint statement released today, officials from the Granite State Pro Stock Series and Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park announced the cancellation of the GSPSS event scheduled for this Saturday night, August 2.
Following a challenging four-week stretch of summer racing, series officials determined that they are unable to field the competitive car count or deliver the high-quality event that fans at Riverside Speedway & Adventure Park deserve.
After careful consideration, the decision was made in the best interest of the teams, the track, and the fans.
“We’ve had a tough summer, and at this time, we simply don’t feel we can meet the standards we strive for,” said a series spokesperson. “Rather than bring an underwhelming product, we felt it was better to regroup and plan ahead.”
The Granite State Pro Stock Series extends its sincere thanks to Mike Humphrey and the entire Riverside Speedway staff for their understanding and continued support. Both parties are committed to maintaining a strong working relationship and will explore potential future dates to bring the series back to Groveton, New Hampshire.
