Steen steals the Tripple Crown show... Again....
Going into the final leg of the triple crown weekend Derek Steen and his 22s factor 1 would have a chance to accomplish two things no Miniakota driver has ever achieved. On the final night of racing, Husets speedway would give Derek a chance to win all 3 nights of the triple crown, as well as be the first driver to win 2 triple crown weekends in their career. Steen would find himself at history's door after winning the first two nights of racing at Rock County Speedway and Nobles county speedway. The Back to Back victory couldn't have come at a better time for the Lakefield Collision team. It catapulted him into Miniakota points contention. Although Steen would give up the last nights Victory to Randy Wulf He would seal the weekends Miniakota Triple crown points chase for the second time. We thank all the teams that came out and endured 3 hard nights or racing.
