Airport Raceway Renews NOW600 Tel-Star Tech Kansas Region Sanction in 2019

DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (December 17, 2019) - Airport Raceway in Garden City, Kansas has renewed their sanctioning with the Lucas Oil National Open Wheel 600 Series presented by Tel-Star Technologies to bring back the Tel-Star Tech NOW600 Kansas Region in 2019.

In the 2018 season, Harley Vogts took the championship in the NOW600 Kansas Region Restricted 'A' Class division with Tanner Johnson claiming the A-Class Kansas Championship.

10 events are on the schedule with the NOW600 Tel-Star Tech Kansas Region including two events triple sanctioned with the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Series and NOW600 Tel-Star Tech Mile High Region on Memorial Day Weekend for the Micro and Midget Roundup.

The season will kick off on Saturday, May 11 and will run through Saturday, September 7 on a bi-weekly basis.

Weekly classes include: NOW600 A-Class, NOW600 Restricted, Briggs Junior Sprints, Briggs Go-Kart and Hornets.

The National Open Wheel 600 Series is in its sixth year of showcasing premier micro sprint racing throughout the country. In addition to the Lucas Oil NOW600 National Micro Series presented by MyRacePass, there are five regions – the NOW600 North Texas Region, the NOW600 Desert Region, the NOW600 Mile High Micro Sprints, the NOW600 Mountain West Region and the NOW600 Northeast Region.
